“Battle Studies” follows John Mayer’s third studio album “Continuum” which was released in 2006 and from which the hits “Waiting on the World to Change” and “Gravity” were taken from. “Studies” was produced by Mayer and Steve Jordan, and has sounds reminiscent of the California rock-pop beats of the 70s and 80s.
